Country music artist Lauren Alaina first caught our attention as a 15-year-old vocal powerhouse on 'American Idol' in 2011. Enjoy her audition here!
In celebration of the release of Lauren Alaina‘s sophomore album, Road Less Traveled on Friday, January 27th, let’s take a journey back to the starlet’s endearing 2011 American Idol Season 10 debut.
The Georgia-born artist auditioned for the popular show in Nashville, Tennessee at the tender age of 15. Watch the young starlet share her sweet story about her cousin Holly and impress judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson with her take on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s “Like We Never Loved at All” below!
As fans can recall, Alaina was declared the runner-up and fellow country artist Scotty McCreery took the American Idol victory.
Obviously, the second place finish didn’t set the songbird back one bit. Lauren will spend the first part of 2017 hitting the road with country music icon Martina McBride on her upcoming Love Unleashed Tour and will also appear on Luke Bryan‘s 2017 Huntin’, Fishin’, & Lovin’ Every Day Tour.
Share this fun trip down memory lane with other country music fans!
