In celebration of The CMA Awards‘ 50th anniversary in November, country music’s biggest names and rising stars are paying tribute to some of the most nominated and awarded songs from the past five decades in the official “Forever Country Covers” series.

“Three Wooden Crosses” scored Travis his 16th No. 1 song and also snagged him the CMA Award for ‘Song of the Year’ in 2003. The 50th Annual CMA Awards will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 2nd, at 8 PM ET on ABC.
