Country music singer-songwriter John Rich's mansion touts a breathtaking view of Nashville and an array of very distinctive amenities!
John Rich was born January 7, 1974 in Amarillo, Texas. He grew up to be a successful American country music singer-songwriter. From 1992 to 1998, he was played bass guitar as a member of the country music band Lonestar. By 2003, he joined Big Kenny to form the duo Big & Rich and they released three albums and ten singles. The duo reached #1 on the country music chart with “Lost in This Moment”. Big & Rich went on hiatus in 2007 and re-established Big & Rich in 2012. Enjoy watching a tour of John Rich’s home below.
Daytime television show Pickler & Ben, co-hosted by Kellie Pickler, recently linked up with Big & Rich‘s John Rich for a tour of his impressive Nashville mansion appropriately nicknamed “Mt. Richmore.”
“The home that music built,” as John says, features a custom guitar-shaped pool, an elevator full of celebrity snapshots, a private stage plus bar, and a lot of country music memorabilia including a pencil sketch from country icon Johnny Cash.
We can see why John is inspired to write from his bar— the view overlooking Nashville is unbeatable and it’s full of whiskey! (The ‘Disco Saddle’ is also quite something.)
The country star is generous with access to his property and often hosts events at Mt. Richmore. According to John, his parties have raised over $6 million for charitable causes.
As the star discolses during his tour, he wrote “Look at You” which seated at the corner of his personal bar. Watch Big & Rich perform the song live on Sirius XM’s The Highway!
“Look at You” Lyrics
Baby when I look at you, with them baby blues
Cuttin’ right through me
You set me on the rewind, back to the good times
When you couldn’t get enough of me
I guess I givin’ myself away
Sayin’ all the things I never did say
I lose myself, there’s nothing else I can do
Baby, when I look at you
Yeah, baby when I look at you
Last thing I thought I’d see was
You across the bar from me, and
Holdin’ on to that turkey bottle
Shootin’ em down, and runnin’ full throttle
Oh I can still taste the last time
You and me and nothin’ but the tan lines
Keeps runnin’ through my my mind
On and on and on and on and
Baby when I look at you, with them baby blues
Cuttin’ right through me
You set me on the rewind, back to the good times
When you couldn’t get enough of me
I guess I givin’ myself away
Sayin’ all the things I never did say
I lose myself, there’s nothing else I can do
Baby, when I look at you
Yeah, baby when I look at you
Well I know you know I’m a watchin’
Your low cut on the dance floor rockin’
Got the whole place worked up and locked in
With every move so sexy it’s shockin’
Girl you sure do know how to serve it
The way I did ya Lord I deserve it
You know my heart, you know how to hurt it
On and on and on and on and
Baby when I look at you, with them baby blues
Cuttin’ right through me
You set me on the rewind, back to the good times
When you couldn’t get enough of me
I guess I givin’ myself away
Sayin’ all the things I never did say
I lose myself, there’s nothing else I can do
Baby, when I look at you
Yeah, baby when I look at you
Well, I could start a tab and run it up
Or close it out and head to my truck, and
Drive away as fast as I can
And forget we ever bucked
‘Cause aby when I look at you, with them baby blues
They’re cuttin’ right through me
You set me on the rewind, back to the good times
When you couldn’t get enough of me
I guess I givin’ myself away
Sayin’ all the things I never did say
I lose myself, there’s nothing else I can do
Oh, I lose myself, there’s nothing else I can do
Baby, when I look at you
Yeah, baby, when I look at you
Baby when I look at you, with them baby blues
They’re cuttin’ right through me
