Jason and Brittany Aldean are expecting their first son this holiday season and are giving fans the exclusive tour of baby Memphis' nursery.
Country music star Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Kerr Aldean are busy nesting ahead of the arrival of their baby boy, Memphis, who they will welcome into the world this holiday season. Memphis is the couple’s first child together, Jason has two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, with ex-wife Jessica Ussery. Both Jason and Brittany are ecstatic about expanding their family and have been giving fans updates any chance they can get.
Their most recent update included pictures of baby Memphis’ elaborate nursery. The room is complete with his name that lights up behind the crib and a beautiful cream aesthetic for the playroom portion of the nursery.
‘Memphis’ is not a common name, which was exactly what the couple was going for from the get-go! Jason and Brittany shared that since both of their names are fairly common they wanted to give their son something more unique and original.
“I’ve kinda been infatuated with Elvis since I was a kid, just always watching documentaries and stuff on him,” Jason said. “It had a little bit to do with that and, honestly, I just wanted to give him something that wasn’t very common. I’m sure he’s going to meet people with the name Memphis. He won’t be the only one, but, you know, at least I think it’s unique enough where…it won’t be like Michael or John or, you know, Jason. And that was kinda what we were going for.”
Aside from the adorable nursery updates and the revelation behind the name, fans have been able to get a glimpse of what the little man will look like. Both proud dad and mom have taken to Instagram to post a sonogram pictures of their little man.
After the tragic events that took place in Las Vegas during the Route 91 Harvest Festival, this baby update and anything related to the upcoming arrival of Memphis is the type of joy country music fans need right now.
