Emerging country music artist Jacki Stone‘s new music video for single, “Wishful Drinking”, the first visual to be taken from her debut LP, Like Hell It’s Yours. The footage was shot in the Northern California native’s stomping grounds of Sonoma County.

Jacki’s songwriting is built upon a raw honesty that deftly navigates life’s complexities. As an eating disorder survivor and recovering alcoholic herself, Stone is evangelical about the importance of healing, hope and compassion. “When we heal ourselves…we help [others] heal,” she says. “I feel that music, in so many ways, can help…Whether that’s a teenager listening to the radio because it’s the only sanity he has, or someone in recovery from an addiction and they have that one song that can keep them from relapsing.”
With this depth of soul-searching it is clear that this artist is not just a singer with a country sound. Stone embodies the spirit of the genre and the heritage of the land around her. Her brand of ‘California Country’ is humble, healing, honest, and raw.
