It was originally performed the legendary country duo of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton in 1983. A fun fact that you may not know is that this song was originally intended for Marvin Gaye and had a R&B feel to it. It was later changed to better suit Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
