Chris Stapleton has lost his voice and has cancelled his show in Santa Barbara, California scheduled for tonight. The “Tennessee Whiskey” crooner apologized via Instagram and said he’ll be checking that he’s heading to the doctor today to get himself checked out. He also stated that he’s looking for a new date to reschedule the show.

Dear fans & friends, I am torn up about having to postpone tomorrow night’s show in Santa Barbara. I’ve lost my voice and am headed to the doctor first thing in the morning. Please know we are working hard to find the earliest possible date we can to get back to you guys. I truly regret having to do this & any inconvenience it may cause. Thanks for your support & understanding. You guys mean the world to me. Sincerely, Chris
