Florida Georgia Line Partners With The Chainsmokers For New Track

The members of Florida Georgia Line have announced their collaboration with the talented American DJ duo The Chainsmokers. Check out the details here!

The Chainsmokers are a young, upbeat DJ duo from New York. Despite gaining popularity through their hit singles “Roses” and “Don’t Let Me Down,” Drew Taggart and Alex Pall earned national recognition when they released “Closer,” last summer. The artists will be releasing their debut album, Memories…Do Not Open, featuring Florida Georgia Line, Coldplay, and Jhene Aiko on April 7th, 2017.

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly couldn’t resist spreading the exciting news to their fans through Twitter. The track will be titled “Last Day Alive” and will be the album’s closing song.

Although this will be Florida Georgia Line’s first song with The Chainsmokers, it will not be their first collaboration with artists from another genre. Since they formed in 2010, Florida Georgia Line has also joined forces with the Backstreet Boys and Nelly. In 2013, Florida Georgia Line partnered with the St. Louis rapper for a remix of FGL’s “Cruise.” At the time, “Cruise” became the most downloaded country song ever.

Both Pop and Country music fans should be anxiously anticipating “Last Day Alive.” The Chainsmokers have produced numerous catchy songs, and Florida Geogia Line is one of country music’s most popular bands. Given FGL’s collaboration track record, this tune should be a big hit.

Be sure to share this exciting news with other Florida Georgia Line fans!
