Red dirt on my 35’s, blue cans in the back
George Strait on the radio, bass hook on the hat
Drink straight out of a spigot, muddy up an old ATV
Map dot educated, with a boondock PHD
I got this twang from my daddy
Got this red on my neck
Learned to sing, pick a six string
From McGraw on cassette
I can catch it, I can drink it, I can shoot it
And anything that’s in between, ain’t nothin’ to it
Ain’t no cane pole, steel-toe, county line, dirt road dummy
Nobody gotta teach me how to country
Teach me how to country
Throw on some of that smell good
Help her hop into that truck
Ain’t even made it to the honkytonk
And we’re already fogging it up
Out on the floor two-steppin’
Feeling like we’re fallin’ in love
Baby girl I can’t help it
You know where I get it from
I got this twang from my daddy
Got this red on my neck
Learned to sing, pick a six string
From McGraw on cassette
I can catch it, I can drink it, I can shoot it
And anything that’s in between, ain’t nothin’ to it
Ain’t no cane pole, steel-toe, county line, dirt road dummy
Nobody gotta teach me how to country
I can throw a line, I can set a hook
Ask me anything, I can write a book
I got this twang from my daddy
Got this red on my neck (On my neck, yeah)
Learned to sing, pick a six string
From McGraw on cassette (On cassette)
I can catch it, I can drink it, I can shoot it (I can shoot it!)
And anything that’s in between, ain’t nothin’ to it (Ain’t nothin’, no)
Ain’t no cane pole, steel-toe, county line, dirt road dummy
Nobody gotta teach me how to country
Yeah, teach me how to country
Teach me how to country
