Dierks Bentley Performs Duet With Daughter Evie [Video]

Dierks Bentley had a very special guest perform with him at a recent concert- his daughter Evie! Watch the two duet here!

While performing in Oklahoma, country music star Dierks Bentley brought a very special musical guest onstage for a duet— his ten-year-old daughter Evie!

“[We have some people here] that have been to several shows on the tour,” Dierks told the crowd prior to his eldest daughter joining him. “I don’t want to do the same show, I want to change things up for you guys. You make it difficult on me, but in the best way. You forced myself, forced the band, to really step it up and change it up.”

Evie came out looking as cute as can be! Shortly into the song, however, her dad quickly realized that some of the “My Religion” lyrics might not be all that age-appropriate. After she belts out, “Ain’t gonna lie, I’ve been drinking / That Colorado’s got me stoned,” Dierks looks around, visibly uncomfortable and even biting his fist!

The singer tried to get his daughter to switch with him during the performance but as fans can tell, Evie was killing the chorus with her vocals! Fans around the stage were also getting a good chuckle from it!

“Next time I’ll sing the chorus,” Dierks joked at the end of the video after giving his daughter a high-five for her amazing performance.

Watch the pair sing “My Religion” together below!

“My Religion” Lyrics

I fell in love on the L train
Headed somewhere north of where you are
Thought I knew where I was going
Now I know I’m going where you are
Ain’t gonna lie I’ve been drinking
That Colorado’s got me stoned
And every time I close my eyes the angels are singing
Loving you ain’t my decision
Loving you is my religion
I wanna hear what’s been hurting
I carve that on a bench in Central Park
And when I showed up there the next day
You’d written your initials in a heart
Ain’t gonna lie I’ve been drinking
That Colorado’s got me stoned
And every time I close my eyes the angels are singing
Loving you ain’t my decision
Loving you is my religion
I’m in love out in LA
Paris, Tokyo, coast to coast
And it’s you that keeps me going
Love from you will always mean the most
Ain’t gonna lie I’ve been drinking
That Colorado’s got me stoned
And every time I close my eyes the angels are singing
Loving you ain’t my decision
Loving you is my religion
