Country Artists Make Forbes Highest-Paid Musicians List

The 2016 edition of the Forbes Highest-Paid Musicians List is out. See where Nashville's elite entertainers landed on the list this time around!

The annual Forbes’ Highest-Paid Musicians List measures pretax income before deducting management fees. Numbers are based on data from Pollstar, Nielsen, and the RIAA, as well as interviews with managers, agents, lawyers—and some musicians themselves. See the full list here.

In terms of the country music genre, here are the four artists who made this year’s list!

#6 Garth Brooks– $70 Million 

#13 Kenny Chesney– $56 Million 

#19 Luke Bryan– $53 Million

#22 Toby Keith– $47.5 Million 

It is important to note that former country music artist, Taylor Swift topped the Forbes Highest-Paid Musicians List at a whopping $170 Million. Her longtime record label, Big Machine Label Group, is based in Nashville.
