Watch Country Music singer Clare Dunn sing about her dream man in the music video for "Tuxedo" and check out the lyrics to this country tune..
In prior interviews Clare Dunn stated, “Growing up on a small farm, I’m from nowhere. I come from the middle of nothing, and there’s 30 people in my hometown, and as a farm girl I grew up admiring farm boys,” said Dunn of her rural Colorado roots. Tuxedo is all about her dream man.
He don’t need no coat and tie
Don’t need no black and white
He don’t need no red carpet
Cameras flashing in his eyes
Ooohhhh
Noooooo
Cause his feet are on the ground
And he’s grounded in his roots
My baby looks so sexy out there working in his boots
Oooohhhh
You should knoooww
Oh my man
He got them real strong hands
And after working all day out in that hot sunshine
He comes walking in always lookin’ so fine
Oh my heart
Lights up like shooting stars
He like a knight in shining armour with them blue jeans on
Dirty white tee and my baby don’t need no
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Don’t need no
Don’t need no
Tuxedo
I don’t need no diamond rings
Don’t need no shining cars
He makes me feel so fancy when I’m laying in his arms
Oooohhhh
You should knoooww
Oh my man
He got them real strong hands
And after working all day out in that hot sunshine
He comes walking in always lookin’ so fine
Oh my heart
Lights up like shooting stars
He like a knight in shining armour with them blue jeans on
Dirty white tee and my baby don’t need no
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Don’t need no
Don’t need no
Tuxedo
He’s like a George Strait quiet type
He knows the difference in wrong and right
And he gives me just what I like
All night
And he’s mine, all mine
Oh my man
He got them real strong hands
And after working all day out in that hot sunshine
He comes walking in always lookin’ so fine
Oh my heart
Lights up like shooting stars
He like a knight in shining armour with them blue jeans on
Dirty white tee and my baby don’t need no
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Don’t need no
Don’t need no
Tuxedo
He don’t need no
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Tux – tux – tuxedo
Don’t need no
Don’t need no
Tuxedo
He don’t need no
Clare stated about the song, ““My dad was a great example as a young girl watching the character that he’s made of and his honor – those are huge things. So, ‘Tuxedo’ is a song about all the things that I admire about a man. He’s hardworking, he’s not afraid to go out there and do what it takes to provide, but he’s just a down-to-earth guy.”
We hope she finds her “Tuxedo” man.
