The wildly popular singer has been mum about her charitable exploits, but fellow do-gooder Rhae Lauren posted this sweet snapshot on Twitter. The group from Nashville is volunteering for Danita’s Children, a nonprofit organization that cares for orphaned and impoverished children. The organization currently cares for more than 100 orphans while also providing education, nutritious meals, and medical care for a larger population of children. Sounds like an excellent cause!
In this picture, you can spy Underwood in bright blue scrubs and chic sunglasses! She has always been open about her personal values rooted in her Christian beliefs and it’s nice to see her quietly take a break from her busy schedule in order to give back. It’s especially refreshing to see a famous person avoid drawing attention to themselves while engaged in charitable acts. That’s rare nowadays.
