The iHeartRadio Country Festival has announced the first few artists, including Brad Paisley, that will make up its 2015 lineup.
The iHeartRadio Country Festival is cousin to the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Concert Tour, among other events. Tim McGraw, Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley were announced among the headliners for the 2015 festival, which will be hosted by former Austin radio host Bobby Bones on May 2 at the Frank Erwin Center.
“This is truly a night of country’s all-stars” says John Sykes, president of iHeartMedia Entertainment Enterprises.
“Every single one of these artists can headline an arena or stadium on their own, but on this night they will share the stage to celebrate the amazing music on our iHeartRadio country stations and the iHeartRadio app.”
Last year was the first time the company held a country festival separate from their all-genre iHeartRadio Music Festival. Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, and Hunter Hayes were on the bill for 2014.
Fans who can’t make it to Austin for this year’s festival can listen live on one of the company’s 120 country radio stations, or online at iHeartRadio.com.
The rest of the lineup has not yet been announced. Tickets go on sale on March 28. Go here for more information.
