Pitney has a traditionalist vibe to his music, making him a perfect artist to cover country legends. This includes the iconic Merle Haggard, who passed away in April 2016. The budding country star covered Haggard’s classic track “The Farmer’s Daughter” last year in tribute to the late artist’s death.
