Carrie Underwood is known for standing up for what she believes in. This time she made her stand on Instagram after her friend and trainer Erin Oprea was photographed by a fellow parent at her son’s soccer game. The photo showed Oprea with her jump rope, trying to fit in some exercise, and some not-so-nice comments made by the photographer.
A soccer-dad posted the picture with the comment “Would it be wrong of me to tell her that every dad at the soccer filed thinks her standing out front with her jump rope for two hours only screams she wants attention. And I can only imagine what the soccer moms are thinking.”
Oprea, rising above the childish jab, re-posted the photo with “don’t let others bully you!!” written on top.
Underwood saw the photo on her friend Oprea’s account and decided to throw her opinion in too.
See what Underwood said in her Instagram post below!
Way to go, Erin! Use someone else’s negativity to help others. That man obviously has a big problem…with himself. I only hope he can learn to like himself someday so he can be an adult and stop bullying others for bettering themselves! Check out the blog erinoprea.com Ok…I see lots of confused comments…I guess I should explain a bit further. This guy felt the need to post this pic of my friend and trainer, Erin Oprea, along with some really insecure and mean comments. He was shaming her for getting in some exercise during her son’s soccer game. Not cool.
