Runaway June gets candid about Opry debut

Country music band Runaway June singers share what it was like to learn they would play at the Opry.

In October 2016, Naomi Cooke, Jennifer Wayne and Hannah Mulholland of Runaway June made their first ever appearance at the Grand Ole Opry. The now 92-year-old event, which saw it’s humble beginningsĀ as a small radio show, has now attracted the best of American music for decades. Since 2015, Runaway June has been working hard to make a name for themselves, and in record time they have! The rootsy trio share what it was like to be asked to perform at such a prestigious venue, and how it was a dream come true for them as a band and as individuals. Watch the interview below!
