The buzz around country music superstar Miranda Lambert‘s new album keeps getting more and more exciting! Lambert continues to drop juicy details pertaining to her highly-anticipated first studio album in two years, The Weight Of These Wings, which is slated for release on November 18th.
The latest update again includes that trusty notebook…
No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks— The Weight Of These Wings is set to be a double album, consisting of 24 songs! The talented Texan has also given each ‘disc’ its own specific title; Disc 1 will be called THE NERVE and Disc 2 THE HEART.
There’s no doubt that Lambert has amassed plenty of material to write about since her 2014 record Platinum— her high profile divorce from Blake Shelton, new relationship with Anderson East, purchasing a 400-acre farm in Tennessee, her work with MuttNation Foundation, reworking her business ventures… just to name a few.
On July 18th, the project’s first single “Vice” was released to country radio and digital outlets. Written by Lambert, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne, it’s the only taste that we’ve gotten from the upcoming album thus far— and we can’t wait for more!
