Country music superstar Miranda Lambert has the best response ever when it comes to this super nosy question...

Like pretty much every other woman on the planet, country music maven Miranda Lambert is also asked if she plans on having children.

“When people say, ‘Are you having children? I’m like, ”I do’” Lambert shared with Rare Country.

And she’s 100 percent telling the truth, she has a whopping eighteen hungry mouths to feed. Okay, the ‘kids’ have fur, tails, and four legs— but they are totally the star’s sweet little babies.

In late February, Miranda and boyfriend Anderson East adopted three lucky cats from their local Tennessee animal shelter. The trio dubbed Bobbi McGee, Nick Saban, and Bear Bryant are adjusting to farm life nicely.

“The little, tiniest one, she’s like teeny tiny. I think she’s stunted. Her name is Bobbi McGee, and she’s kind of started to prove herself as a little bit of the queen of the farm. She’s the baby, but she’s feisty. It’s interesting,” the “Tin Man” singer explained.

Besides adding creatures great and small to her Nashville area property, Miranda also actively seeks out new forever homes for animals and helps out animal shelters through her MuttNation Foundation efforts. The organization was founded in 2009 by the country artist and her mother Bev Lambert. It’s mission is to end animal cruelty, neglect, and homelessness.

Despite her packed schedule, Miranda’s focus on her animal friends never sways, “[The] dogs and cats thing, I guess that’s sort of never going to end, but that’s where I’m at. If I’m not writing songs or working, I’m on my farm with my animals.”

Miranda has been a long time supporter of animal rescue and animals as her “kids” as you can see from this interview:

During her Highway Vagabond Tour, the singer-songwriter has also launched the “Fill The Little Red Wagon” animal shelter campaign. To rally the support of concertgoers and help animals in need, the songstress is offering up the chance for one lucky fan and a guest to meet her before her concert.

To enter, all fans have to do is drop off pet food, treats, or toys into the “Little Red Wagon” that is set up at the entrance of the concert venue on the evening of her performance. All donations benefit local shelters. What an amazing way to activate a loyal fanbase and help out an extremely important cause.

We love Miranda’s big ol’ heart! Share this delightfully clever response with other fans of the sassy Texan!
