After making the tough decision to shutter her Pink Pistol boutique and Ladysmith Bed & Breakfast in Tishamingo, Oklahoma, Miranda Lambert has something big to celebrate in her hometown of Lindale, Texas. And she’s going all out with a HUGE block party open to everyone!!!
In August, the country superstar officially opened up her expanded Pink Pistol boutique in the redeveloped section of Lindale’s downtown. To recognize the grand opening of Miranda’s business and others in the area, a massive block party dubbed “Pinktoberfest” is scheduled for October 22nd— starting at 10 AM. The celebration will include a performance by Charlie Robison, a chili cook-off competition, habanero pepper eating contest, all-day wine tasting, and so much more.
The very special “Miranda Lambert Rose” will also be on display during the festivities. Sales of the rose help support Miranda’s MuttNation Foundation, which will be holding an adoption drive during the event.
MuttNation co-founder, and Miranda’s mom, Bev Lambert, explains, “Pinktoberfest is a wonderful opportunity to adopt a pet in need of a forever home. We are so excited to be a part of this event. Whatever else Miranda does, her passion for the animals is always a constant and guiding force, one that started right here in Lindale.”
