In an interview with CMT, Luke Bryan told a pretty funny story about getting fooled by his wife.

Luke Bryan might just be the perfect country boy.

Luke Bryan, 39, first hit the country music scene in the mid-2000s, writing songs for his longtime friends, Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. After penning a deal with Capitol Nashville in 2007, he released his I’ll Stay Me album which produced the singles “All My Friends Say,” “We Rode in Trucks,” and “Country Man.” His follow-up album dubbed  Doin’ My Thing included “Do I” and the No. 1 singles “Rain Is a Good Thing” and “Someone Else Calling You Baby.”

Tailgates & Tanlines, dropped in 2011, included “Country Girl (Shake It for Me),” “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” “Drunk on You,” and “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.” The Georgia native’s fourth studio album, Crash My Party, spun off number one singles “Crash My Party,” “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Drink a Beer,” “Play It Again,” “Roller Coaster,” and “I See You.”

The award-winning entertianer’s latest album, Kill The Lights lead single, “Kick the Dust Up,” became his 13th track to hit number one, followed soon by his 14th number one “Strip It Down.” In all, Luke Bryan has sold over 7 million albums and 27 million singles globally.

The superstar is a family man who married his college sweetheart, Caroline Boyer Bryan, back in 2006. The beautiful couple have two sons, Thomas and Tatum.
