Garth Brooks remains one of the nicest and most genuine artists on the planet!

Garth Brooks stopped his Minneapolis, MN show for fan Teresa Shaw on Friday! Shaw is currently fighting stage 3 breast cancer and held up a poster that read: “Chemo this morning, Garth tonight. Enjoy the dance,” while Brooks sang The Dance.”

Shaw received the surprise of a lifetime when an usher escorted her to the stage. Brooks serenaded her, planted a sweet kiss on Shaw’s forehead, and handed her his guitar in exchange for her sign.

While addressing the crowd, Brooks stated, “You have all my strength, you have everybody’s strength in here, and you go kick cancer’s ass!”

Brooks tragically lost his mother and sister to cancer, so Shaw’s message really struck a very tender spot.

Best wishes to Teresa!
