The FarmBorough Festival will not see a second year. Put up your stompin' boots, New York City.

The 2016 FarmBorough Festival has been canceled— about a week after tickets went on sale to the public.

FarmBorough Festival will not return to Randall’s Island Park in June of 2016. All of us at FarmBorough Festival…

The announcement is vague, but refunds will start processing today. More details about refunds is available here.

Fans were looking forward to the incredible line-up— Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Brantley Gilbert, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, A Thousand Horses, Billy Currington, Lonestar, Kacey Musgraves, David Nail, and Eric Paslay were all slated to rock the stage at the second annual event in New York City. In 2015, over 40,000 country music enthusiasts attended the first FarmBorough Festival with Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, and Brad Paisley serving as headliners.

The 2016 FarmBorough Festival is the second East Coast country music festival to be canceled in 2016. Delaware’s The Big Barrel Country Music Festival was canceled last month. That event was also supposed to be in its second year.

What a disappointment for our friends up north.
