Monday night's Nashville Predators vs. Chicago Blackhawks game had a very special pre-game surprise--- Carrie Underwood singing the national anthem!

Monday night, country music superstar Carrie Underwood thrilled hockey fans by taking to the ice ahead of the Nashville Predators’ first-round Stanley Cup playoff against the Chicago Blackhawks to perform the national anthem. Yes, she was proudly wearing husband Mike Fisher’s #12 jersey during her dazzling performance of the patriotic tune. No, the “C” doesn’t stand for “Carrie,” Fisher is the NHL team’s captain.

“Please rise and welcome seven-time Grammy winner and longtime Nashville Predators fan Carrie Underwood, as we honor the United States with the singing of the national anthem,” said the Bridgestone Arena announcer as the crowd roared with anticipation.

Enjoy video footage of the incredible moment below!

As expected, Underwood belted out “The Star-Spangled Banner” in a spectacular and totally flawless fashion. Check out the country star’s finger nails— complete with a blue and gold manicure. (And a blue pedicure to match, of course. Go big or go home.) Besides surprising the excited crowd with a performance, Underwood also twirled a yellow Predators towel alongside Nashville mayor Megan Barry to get the spectators riled up before the players hit the ice!

Underwood and Fisher have been married since 2010 and have a 2-year-old son named Isaiah together. Underwood is no stranger to cheering on her husband from the stands or from afar via television. During a 2017 Grammys Awards red carpet interview with PEOPLE she confirmed that she’s big into supporting her husband and the Preds, “I’m like: ‘Yeah! Get ’em!’ I’m screaming at the TV, or if I’m there I’m screaming and yelling at the refs. It’s good. I’m in it!”

Good luck to the Nashville Predators and they continue their push towards clenching the ultimate prize—the Stanley Cup! Share this unique sporting moment with other Carrie Underwood fans!
