Carrie Underwood talks about the inspiration behind "Dirty Laundry" and the making of the incredible music video.

Country music star Carrie Underwood‘s new music video for her current single “Dirty Laundry” is downright powerful. Check out the behind-the-scenes footage of the video shoot below!

The dramatic black and white music video is Carrie’s first collaboration with director Shane C. Drake.

“It’s all about emotion and that moment when a woman has finally reached that point, after the heartache, of being done with a relationship. Shane had the idea to include some beautiful animals that represent the parallels between human and animal behavior and instincts, which look great interwoven with visuals of emotional women and men. It gave us a way to portray one of my songs in a way we’ve never done before,” stated Carrie.

“Dirty Laundry,” currently at #20 on both the Billboard and Mediabase country airplay charts, is the fourth single from her hit fifth studio album, Storyteller, which has produced three consecutive #1 singles— “Smoke Break,” “Heartbeat” and “Church Bells.”
