Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley released a video of their Version of “Forever Country” in promotion of the upcoming 50th Annual CMA Awards show.   This version will give you goosebumps as Brad and Carrie stand back to back and perform their very own version of “Forever Country“!

The original Forever Country performance that featured 30 Country Music artists moved very fast and debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot Country Chart. The music video director was Joseph Kahn (Grammy winning director of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”) and the producer was Shane McAnally.  As a tribute to the enduring CMA awards show, 30 of country music’s top artists joined forces to produce “Forever Country” is an epic mash-up as a medley of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again,” and Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.”

Watch the original performance below and compare the full version to the shorter performance by Carrie and Brad.

Watch the original music videos for the three Forever Country Songs included in the mash-up and see the Forever Country Lyrics to the original songs here.

The “Forever Country” video reflects this year’s CMA awards theme, “Then, Now, Forever Country.”   Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return again to host the 50th annual CMA Awards from Nashville on Nov. 2 on ABC-TV.
